Working around unfilled mandatory fields when saving cobby

Scenario: You want to save changes for a product in cobby, but an unfilled mandatory field prevents you from saving the changed product. The cobby Error Task Pane opens and you get for example the following error message:

By clicking on this eye symbol you jump directly to the cell that caused the error.

Solution: Hide the fields that trigger the error. cobby ignores hidden fields.

Please note: System attributes (SKU, Admin-Key, etc.) cannot be hidden, because they are needed for the unique product assignment and thus for the saving process.

1. Click on the eye icon in the Error Assistant Task Pane to jump to the field causing the error.

2. Select the entire column by clicking on the column header.  

3. The cursor should turn into a downward pointing arrow:

4. Right-click on the column and select "Hide".

5. Make your changes, if not already done, and click "Save products" again.
