How can I search formulas in Excel and fix recurring errors?

Scenario: You have used a formula in several attribute sets for different attributes and want to change a part of the formula without manually changing every field or column where the formula occurs.

Solution: Excel knows the function Find and Replace (CTRL+F), which can be used not only for numbers or text, but also for formulas.

  1. Set Browse to "Workbook".

  2. Set Search in to "Formulas".

  3. First check the range of your change by clicking on "Search all". All affected cells will be displayed.

  4. Only then use "Replace all".
