Question: Grouped attributes cannot be deselected in Magento. Is this possible in cobby?
Yes, this is possible in cobby. Please see the checkbox in the attribute: Grouped Attributes.
What prices does a config use? / Automatic Price Determination
- The config takes the prices from the attribute options. This means that they are derived from the colour and size, for example.
- When saving in cobby, the job status turns yellow with a "!" in the middle:
The display of a yellow job status with an exclamation mark is not an error, but only an indication of necessary price changes. This appears if, for example, you change the price of a simple but do not adjust the attribute option price in the config.
What does the Automatic Price Determination do?
- The difference between the config and the simple is calculated.
Example:
Before table (view without automatic price determination):
If, for example, a config contains a simple product with a price of 14,00€ and a product that costs only 7,00€, the relevant amount for the automated price adjustment is also 7,00€. This means: The lowest price limit of a config, i.e. the cheapest, associated simple article, is created as the price.
After table (adjusted price):
- Next, this difference is entered for the respective attribute in the option (see images).
Note: If there is more than one super attribute, a calculated, automatic solution is not possible. The reason for this is that it is no longer recognised which difference is necessary for the determination.
